Founded in Montana's Madison Valley by Clay Evinger and Mike Toth, Headwaters Customs operates like the machines we build. Clay is the horsepower. Mike is the suspension and steering. Different roles, one direction.

Clay provides the raw force behind every build. A highly skilled fabricator and welder, he brings torque, strength, and mechanical execution to the table. From chassis work and drivetrains to structural fabrication, Clay's work is about making vehicles move, pull, and survive. Power you can trust, built to be used.

Mike is responsible for how that power meets the road. With decades of experience in paint, body, and design, he focuses on control, precision, and feel. Lines, proportions, finishes, and details all matter. His role is to ensure every vehicle not only performs, but drives straight, tracks true, and feels right from behind the wheel.

Individually, those skills matter. Together, they create balance.
